·As part of an Arts Council England commission, About Face has devised this new combined performance and workshop, which investigates the impact of Hate Crime through enabling a participatory experience for the students. In this way, they explore scenarios, propose solutions and gain greater insight into Hate Crime issues and appropriate ways to respond.

The Red Dress
Based in the traditions of fairytale, The Red Dress is an evocative story about a young girl’s
journey into adulthood and her mother’s acceptance of their changing relationship.
​
Performed using beautiful, small-scale puppets and props, The Red Dress is an intimate piece of theatre featuring a stunning, portable set and choreographed to an evocative soundtrack.
​
Ideally suited for arts festivals and small venues, Red Dress has also proved very popular in
schools where it is a perfect vehicle to explore issues about transition.

A Red Dress performance lasts for approximately 30 minutes and can be performed several times in one day

We Are All Stories
This collection of five theatre-for-one plays is inspired by historical stories from around Herefordshire. We Are All Stories is beautifully presented by the actors and puppets in a magical space created an audience of one or two, with audience members moving between the individual pieces.
